Welcome to All Hotties Theater, a new not-for-profit arts and culture organization creating theatrical events centered around queer intergenerational dialogue, celebration, inspiration, and education in Brantford!
“On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me…”
Shakespeare’s ‘Twelfth Night, or What You Will,’ produced by All Hotties Theater and directed by Esther Jenny, will be performed in a modern setting with contemporary costuming that subtly underscores the reference to the festive “12th night” in the play’s title.
Based in pagan traditions, the 12th day of Christmas was often a day of merry-making and feastings. In Elizabethan England it was known as a “topsy turvy” day in which servants became masters, a King of Fools was crowned, and chaos reigned.
Using the original Shakespearean script—slightly adapted for length— we are inviting actors 18+ of all experience levels, backgrounds, identities, and expressions to join us in bringing this classic romantic comedy to the stage for the 2026-2027 holiday season.

Rehearsals to be held at Chamber of Commerce, 77 Charlotte St, Brantford, ON and Brantford Library (Main Branch), 174 Colborne St, Brantford, ON, with some rehearsals in November-December to be held at St. Paul’s United Church, 48 Broadway St W, Paris, On
Shows will take place on January 1st (one evening show) and January 2nd (one matinee and one evening show) 2027
Please note that Twelfth Night is a romantic comedy. All actors should be comfortable with close physical contact with their fellow performers, and the actors cast in the main roles of Duke Orsino, Olivia, Viola, and Sebastian should be comfortable with various levels of dramatic intimacy suitable for a romantic comedy. Comfort levels will be discussed prior to rehearsing intimate scenes; however, please note that as casting will be non-traditional, actors should consider their comfort level towards intimacy with actors of any gender
If cast, there will be a $55 participation fee for all cast members, which helps to cover the cost of the rehearsal space, and can be paid via e-transfer prior to the first rehearsal or in cash at the first rehearsal
